Welcome Our 2013 - 2014 German Instructor, Tammy Kirchner!

I grew up in Urbandale, Iowa and started learning German in an after-school program in the third grade. Since then I have gone on to study German and now have my M.A. in Applied Literary and Cultural Studies from TU Dortmund University. I have always enjoyed teaching and working with kids. I've worked with children in Germany to help them learn English through play and this past summer I prepared a group of American high-school students for their year abroad in Germany. I'm excited to be working at Hoover to bring the language and culture to your students as well!
